Polar Bear Viewing at Aurora Inn, Churchill

This is an exciting adventure which will bring you up close to the largest carnivore in the world; the enormous arctic polar bear. Every year, the polar bears start to migrate along the Hudson Bay Coast and onto the Cape Churchill coastline, which is where this tour will take you, tracking down their gigantic paw prints in the snow.

The trip also takes you to see the majestic ‘Northern Lights', which some name as the ‘Dance of the Spirits', and is a natural light display which is out of this world.

Day 1 - Arrive Winnipeg

Your day starts with your arrival in Winnipeg, and then rendezvous with your fellow polar explorers at the Hilton Suite Hotel Winnipeg Airport for a welcome orientation where you will discuss your plans for the exciting days ahead. You will spend this first night here and we recommend a good night sleep to prepare for your action packed itinerary up ahead. Dinner is included.

Day 2, 3 & 4 - Churchill

An early flight to Churchill, the polar bear capital of the world, starts your expedition of exploration. For two full days, you'll track polar bears in specially modified Tundra Buggies, and a unique arctic picnic lunch will be served on these days. You'll also have an opportunity to see the spectacular and haunting Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).

Day 3 will be used to explore Churchill with a mini tour, a visit to the Eskimo Museum and a one hour helicopter trip over the surrounding areas to get a Birdseye view of the wildlife below. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included these three days, and you will be staying overnight in either the Aurora Inn or the Polar Inn for each of these nights.

Day 5 - Churchill to Winnipeg

You'll have some free time in the morning to do some shopping before catching the afternoon flight to Winnipeg. Breakfast and lunch are included, and at night you will enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow polar explorers. Overnight will be in the Hilton Suite Hotel at Winnipeg Airport.

Day 6 - Departure Day

After breakfast, transfer to Winnipeg airport where your tour will end.
