Bear Whisperer at Pyna-Tee-Ah Lodge fr £742pp

British Columbia - 3 nights, 4 days

The Pyna-Tee-Ah Lodge is set close by to the world’s deepest fjord lake, with the stunningly dramatic scenery of B.C’s Cairboo Mountains all around, and offering the perfect location to enjoy a true bear watching experience.

The surrounding area is rich in wildlife, wetlands and the rivers of Quesnel Lake which are teeming with fresh trout and salmon, which are the bears of Canada’s favourite delicacy. Led by Gary Zorn, the ‘bear whisperer’ of the Cariboo Mountains, you will venture on daily bear and wildlife excursions by foot and by boat, where you can experience viewing them along the waterways and shorelines in their natural habitat and hunting for their food.

Gary is an expert in the area, and in bears, dedicating his life to studying bears, the way they act and socialise in the wild.

Back at the lodge, evenings will be spent relaxing and sharing experiences with your fellow guests, or sitting comfortably outdoors and perhaps catching a glimpse of the northern lights.
