A magical tour to the maritime provinces of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. This region is bursting full of natural wonders and awe-inspiring seascapes. If you are a seafood lover you will be in heaven dining on the finest seafood caught fresh that day. You will also learn about Atlantic Canada’s Scottish and Acadian heritage.
Day 1 - Halifax
Upon arrival in Halifax you will transfer independently to your downtown hotel where you will meet your tour director at check-in. Spend the rest of the day exploring this historic city which was the fi rst British town in Canada. Spend the night in Halifax.
Day 2 - Halifax
Onboard your luxury tour bus you will view the city in style as you cruise through the historic streets of Halifax. The tour includes the Victorian Halifax Public Gardens and the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, as well as an overview of the devastating Halifax Explosion. Spend the night in Halifax.
Day 3 - Halifax to Digby
This morning you will visit Lunenburg where you have the choice to visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, or take part in a walking tour of the historic town. Enroute to the next overnight location, you will stop at the Champlain’s Habitation. Spend the rest of the evening and night in Digby.
Day 4 - Digby to Moncton Spend the morning at leisure exploring the picturesque fishing port of Digby which has the largest scallop fishing fleet in the world. You will travel along the lush Annapolis Valley, one of the oldest European settlements, and through Grand Pre, the site that inspired Longfellow’s famous and tragic poem “Evangeline.” Continue past Nova Scotia’s thriving communities of Truro and Amherst and cross into New Brunswick. Spend the night in Moncton.
Day 5 - Moncton to Charlottetown Today you will continue onto Hopewell Rocks, a natural wonder known for its ancient geography and powerful tides. After lunch, continue to Prince Edward Island as you drive over Confederation Bridge, the world’s longest continuous multi-span bridge, and enjoy a delicious east coast lobster dinner before checking into the hotel. Spend
the night in Charlottetown.
Day 6 - Charlottetown
This morning you will go on a brief sightseeing tour of the town to help you fi nd your bearings. The rest of the day is yours to explore. Charlottetown is well known for the magical history and culture as well as many recreational activities such as golf. We also recommend spending some time on the beautiful sandy beaches or indulge in the gorgeous stylish boutiques. Arrivals from mid-June to mid-September attend the musical “Anne” at the Charlottetown Festival or Mariner's Feast Dinner Show. Spend the night in Charlottetown
Day 7 - Charlottetown to Halifax
Today’s drive from Charlottetown takes you back into Nova Scotia for a scenic drive to Halifax where your tour end
