What’s not included

Insurance
Vehicles are insured with $5,000,000 public liability and property damage. The units carry $750 deductible for collision, and comprehension.

Convenience kits
Kits include dishes, cookware, pillows, linen, towels, sleeping bags and cleaning equipment. For kits add £39 per person.

Government and Provincial sales tax (compulsory)
Payable locally on whole rental - GST is currently 5% and PST ranges from 0%-9% dependent on province

Mileage Packs
Costs £79 for a prepaid mileage pack of 500km, £125 per 800km package. Unlimited mileage can also be purchased for £669 valid for up to 21 nights then £32 per additional night. Individual extra kilometres are charged at $0.33 per km locally at the rental counter.

One-way rentals
One-ways require a minimum 14 night rental. Drop-off fees are as follows:

Additional driver fee
$5 per night for each additional driver (payable locally).

Driving into the US
$10 per night (payable locally) for those vehicles entering the US. In the event Canadream is not made aware of travel in the US and an incident occurs the client will void insurance coverage and be responsible for all costs.

Rental Information & Conditions

Drivers
Motorhome drivers must be over 21, hold a full and valid driving licence and are responsible for all traffic and parking violations. Additional drivers fee is $5 per night.

Pick-up and drop-off
We recommend that renters should rest for one night after a transatlantic flight prior to vehicle pick-up. Free transfers from designated airports and hotels begin at 1200. Vehicle pick-up is between 1300 and 1600. Vehicle return must be between 0800 and 1000 (late return fee of $75 per hour applies). Sunday pick ups and drop offs are available at a cost of $375.

Depots open 1 May to 30 September, 0800 to 1800 every day. 1 October to 30 April, 0800 to 1700 Monday to Saturday.

Fuel
Vehicles are supplied with a minimum 1/4 tank of fuel and should be returned with similar amount.
Insurance does not cover liability for loss of personal property nor does it cover other personal costs should an accident occur which makes the vehicle inoperable.

Travel restrictions
Vehicles must not be driven on non public roads or in Death Valley. Vehicles are not permitted to enter Mexico at any time. A Northern Surcharge of £259 applies for rental starting from Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto into certain northern areas. Requests for travel in this area must be made at the time of booking. Customers who travel to restricted areas without permission will be subject to penalty fines and all insurance cover is void. All dollar prices are payable locally. All £ sterling prices are to be prepaid. In addition note that the parking of your vehicle is prohibited in the greater metropolitan areas of Montreal and Ottawa; this includes all pay parking lots, hotel parking lots, side streets, malls etc.

One way rentals
Means you can pick-up your motorhome in one city and drop-off in another, giving you even more freedom. Fees will apply and minimum rental is 14 nights.

Security deposit
Rentals require a security deposit of $750 and for all drivers aged 21-24 a $1,500 depasot is required. An open credit card authorisation is taken at departure for all rentals.

Responsibility
If the reserved vehicle is not available, due to circumstances beyond the company's control, Canadream reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent or higher grade. If a lower rated vehicle is substituted then a refund is provided on the difference between the two vehicles.

Minimum rental
1 night provided the pick up and drop off location is the same.
