Additional Rental Options

Each motorhome rental incurs a one-off preparation fee of £67.

CDR-Collision Deductible Reducer A collision damage reducer is available for £16 per night and provides the following benefits: CDR coverage reduces the renter's responsibility for collision damage (from $5,000 to $500 per occurrence). Please call us for full terms and conditions. CDR Plus - this reduces the excesses to $0 (some exceptions apply) ask for details. CDR Plus can only be purchased in addition to CDR. CDR coverage will guarantee the renter a replacement vehicle when the renter's vehicle becomes un-driveable due to damage, even if it is the renter's fault. This excludes delivery of the MH27 and MH29 to the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Alaska.

Please Note:

• There is a £7 per night surcharge for Whitehorse pick-ups.
• CDR (Collision Damage Reducer) this reduces excess payments to $500, CDR CDR Plus reduces excesses to $0.
• All vehicles have AM/FM radio, V8 engine, auto transmission, power brakes and power steering.
• MH27 and 29 are not available for Whitehorse pickups and not recommended for Northern travel.

Rental Terms and Conditions

What's not included

• Government and provincial taxes (compulsory) payable locally on the whole rental. HST/ GST are charged at the rate according to the departure city.
• Vehicle preparation fee of £67 per booking must be prepaid. This includes vehicle cleaning and supplies such as initial propane fill, toilet chemicals, and fresh water hoses.
• One way rental charges (if applicable).
• Any additional optional extras such as Mountain bikes, portable microwave or baby seats.

Convenience Kits

Full convenience kits are mandatory and are available at a charge of £56 per person. These kits include: pots, pans and a kettle, cookware, pillows and pillow cases, bed sheets, towels, duvet, instruction manual and campground directories and road maps

One way Rentals All one-way rentals must be confirmed in advance. There is a minimum rental period of 14 days on one-way rentals. These one-way charges must be pre-paid:

All one-way rentals to/from Whitehorse are on a request basis.

Extra Kilometres

Additional Kilometre Packages are charged locally at a rate of $0.35 per KM on return of the vehicle.

Opening Hours

Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00. Saturday 08:30 – 16:30. All offices are closed on Sundays and bank holidays

Availability

Every effort will be made to ensure that the vehicle reserved will be available, however, if due to unavoidable circumstances the reserved vehicle is not available, Fraserway RV Rentals reserves the right to substitute that vehicle with another of equal or greater value at no additional cost to the customer. Any subsequent expenses (additional ferry costs, gasoline, etc.) are the renter’s sole responsibility.

Cleaning of Vehicles

The vehicles must be returned clean inside. If the cleanliness of the RV’s inside is not up to Fraserway standards, a charge of $40.00 per hour will be levied. Outside washing is not required, unless the check-in procedure cannot be performed due to dirt on the vehicle. We especially recommend “northern travellers” to wash the vehicle prior to returning it to the rental station. This will avoid any potential delays upon check-in. Vehicle holding tanks requiring dumping by Fraserway staff will result in a $25.00 service charge.

Drivers licence requirements

A valid drivers licence from the country of residence is mandatory. The minimum age of the driver has to be twenty one (21) years. The international drivers licence is recommended, but is only valid in combination with the national drivers licence.

Drop off

Monday to Saturday, 09.00 am to 12.00 noon (inspection ready). Sufficient time should be allowed for packing suitcases and cleaning vehicles.
There will be a $30.00 charge per hour if the vehicle is overdue without Fraserway’s permission. Rental extensions must have prior approval from Fraserway RV Rentals.

Early return

Fraserway RV Rentals will not pay any refunds for rentals returned prior to the arranged drop off date.

Fuel

The vehicles are provided to the renter with a full tank of gasoline (or diesel) and must be returned the same way.

Northern Travel

Travelling into the Yukon, NWT, Nunavut or Alaska is permitted when disclosed in advance.

Payments by clients

Fraserway RV Rentals will accept the following methods of payments for additional charges paid directly by the renter: Visa / MasterCard / American Express / Travellers Cheques or Cash in Canadian Dollars

Pick Up

Vehicles can be collected at our rental stations from Monday to Saturday between 09.00 and 15.00 hrs

Refund/Repairs

All replacement parts or repairs in excess of $50.00 require prior authorisation from Fraserway RV. Please note that refunds can only be made upon presentation of a proper receipt. Malfunctions of the air-conditioning systems, microwave ovens, radios and cruise controls, are not considered break-downs and no compensation will be given.

Security Deposit

An imprint of a major credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) is required while the vehicle is on rent.

Suitcase Storage

Fraserway RV Rentals offers free storage of luggage at owner’s risk.

Traffic Violations

The renter of the vehicle will be responsible for all fines resulting from traffic violations (including parking tickets) during the time of the rental. As a courtesy, Fraserway will ensure that the tickets and fines are paid in timely fashion if the renter provides the ticket and payment. Should any tickets or fines go unpaid, Fraserway reserves the right to charge a $25.00 administration fee in addition to the amount of the fine. All fees will be charged to the renter’s credit card.

Travel Restrictions

Travel into Mexico is prohibited. Travel in Death Valley, California, is prohibited between June 01 and August 31. Non public roads and off-road driving is prohibited at all times.
