There’s a lot of adventure to be found in Northern Ontario, and this spectacular itinerary bundles it all together, you’ll have time in the Cities of Toronto and Niagara Falls as well as a chance to explore the fabulous National Park of the Algonquinn.
| Day 1 |
Arrival in Toronto
Arrive at Toronto airport and collect your car hire, then head into downtown Toronto to your hotel where you will pick up your Canada Roadbook as you check in.
The rest of the day is yours to explore the attractions, shopping and nightlife in the area. The first night is spent in Toronto. |
| Day 2 |
Toronto
Today you have the opportunity to view some spectacular scenery over the whole of Toronto with free admission to the CN Tower. Ride the glass front elevators, dare to walk on the glass floors with the city below, and dine in the Horizon restaurant which rotates 360 degrees, giving stunning views. |
| Day 3 |
Toronto
Spend today at Canada’s Wonderland, a fantastic
place for kids – and big kids too! It is an outdoor park
with over 200 attractions and 60 adventurous rides.
Or, if you’d rather opt for the more cosmopolitan
option, enjoy a day at the Eaton Centre, one of the
most famous shopping areas in the world. |
| Day 4 |
Toronto to Niagara Falls (130 km)
Heading south, and skirting the Niagara Escarpment,
stop at Niagara-on-the-Lake and discover the quaint
shops and taste the delectable local ice wine, before
heading onto Niagara Falls where you will spend the
rest of the day exploring and overnight. |
| Day 5 |
Niagara Falls
Today you will embark on a magical adventure by
enjoying a trip on the Maid of the Mist. The boat will
take you close to the American and Horseshoe Falls
giving the most amazing photo opportunities. Enjoy the
nightlife tonight in one of the casinos or the Hard Rock
Café before spending the night in Niagara |
| Day 6 |
Blue Mountain (240 km)
This adventure packed area has a limitless amount of
activities available. Spend some time on the awardwinning
golf course, or take a gondola ride up the
breathtaking mountain escarpment. Enjoy an evening
in The Village, a welcoming focal point with a variety of
shopping and entertainment. The night will be spent in
Blue Mountain. |
| Day 7 |
Manitoulin Island (190 km)
Today you will take a picturesque drive through the
Bruce Peninsula and onto Tobermory where you
will take a two-hour cruise to South Baymouth on
Manitoulin Island where you will spend the night. |
| Day 8 |
Manitoulin Island
over 100 lakes; including Lake Manitou which itself
contains several more lakes. With all this fresh water,
it’s no surprise that Manitoulin offers so many boating,
fishing and scuba diving adventure activities. The night
will be spent on Manitoulin Island. |
| Day 9 |
Manitoulin Island to Killarney Provincial
Park (275 km)
The afternoon takes you through a dramatic landscape
of white quartzite mountains and pink granite
coastlines ringing azure lakes. Arriving at the north
shore of Georgian Bay, you’ll wind down your day with
a choice of activities at your resort. Tonight will be
spent at Killarney Provincial Park where dinner is also
included. |
| Day 10 |
Killarney Provincial Park
The day is for your leisure in Killarney Provincial Park
where the world-famous 'Group of Seven' made this
area their artistic inspiration. This area has excellent
hiking trails as well as a myriad of water sports to
take advantage of. The night will be spent in Killarney
Provincial Park where breakfast and dinner are
included. |
| Day 11 |
Huntsville (271 km)
Today you will travel to the exciting area of Huntsville
where you can chose to relax or, if you are the more
adventurous type, peddle boats, windsurfers, kayaks,
mountain bikes, and fishing rods are all available
for use. The night will be spent in Huntsville where
breakfast is also included. |
| Day 12 |
Huntsville/Algonquin Provincial
Park
We suggest heading to Algonquin Provincial Park
to hike through the pristine forests or canoe on the
sparkling clean lakes. There is a very handy children’s
programme available here which gives them the
opportunity to take part in challenging activities with
kids their age (available Sun-Fri). The night will be
spent in Huntsville. |
| Day 13 |
Toronto (218 km)
After a leisurely return south towards Toronto, enjoy
a final opportunity to take advantage of the activities
that are on offer in this spectacular city, such as
the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Rogers Centre and the
fantastic shopping areas. Your final night is spent here
in Toronto. |

End of tour
The morning is yours to squeeze in some last minute
shopping or sightseeing before heading to the airport
for your return flight home. |
