| Day 1 | Vancouver Arrival Enjoy exploring this spectacular city with free time on your own. Overnight in Vancouver. |
| Day 2 | Vancouver to Kamloops Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior, while enjoying the added comforts and amenities of GoldLeaf Service. Watch panoramic views of the spectacular scenery through dome windows and enjoy gourmet meals in the GoldLeaf Dining Room. You will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of and Coast and Cascade mountains to the desert-like environment of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River, before the train winds along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops. | Day 3 | Kamloops to Banff Continue eastwards to the Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta.You will see spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the tunnels that form part of the rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Highlights include craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in Banff. |
| Day 4 | Banff Sightseeing. Enjoy a three-hour motorcoach sightseeing tour of Banff this morning. Among the highlights are visits to Bow Falls, the Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure in Banff. Overnight in Banff. |
| Day 5 | Free Day in Banff Today you will have an entire day to spend exploring Banff National Park on your own. Optional activities include soaking in the mineral pools at Upper Hot Springs, enjoying a nature walk on nearby mountain trails, visiting Banff’s historic museums, cruising on Lake Minnewanka or playing a round of golf at The Fairmont Banff Springs. Overnight in Banff. |
