Banff is nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies in spectacular Banff National Park, which is a holiday experience on its own! Expect to be overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of this region, from the awesome mountain peaks to the wild elk roaming freely down Banff Avenue to the buzzing town centre.

When you come to stay in Banff you can enjoy 3 incredible resorts aptly named "The Big 3": Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise Ski Area, offering a world of choice all within a short distance of each other and to the town.

Renowned for:

 » Great for families
 » Great for Nightlife
 » Non-ski activities
 » High altitude skiing
Each resort offers a different terrain and a totally different experience within the National Park, though staying in Banff you are more likely to spend more time in Sunshine Village but we recommend you try them all... plus night skiing at Mount Norquay!

We have a wide choice of hotels in downtown Banff offering a range of accommodation needs to suit your holiday requirements, choose from hotel rooms, luxury loft suites, condo apartments to luxury townhouses for families and groups wanting more space. Banff town offers a wide selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, so the non or occasional skiers will have just as much fun off piste as on piste! Banff is also packed with top quality tourist attractions such as the Hot Springs, Banff Gondola, Canadian Ski Museum, Whyte Museum, and many art galleries, theatres and a cinema.

At night time a different energy comes to town with a wide choice of bars kicking into fun mode. There's a massive choice of places to eat from casual diners serving generous portions of ribs, burgers and Alberta Beef steaks, to the fine cuisine. You will easily eat your way round Banff!

There isn't ski in-ski out access from the village but there are dedicated ski shuttle buses from the town centre that take you directly to each individual ski resort. If travelling with family or friends swap the coach transfer for a car and enjoy the flexibility of driving to and from each resort at the time you want. Not only will you save money but you can enjoy sightseeing and more of the visitor attractions when you have your own car.
