You will find Big White nestled perfectly in the heart of the Okanagan Valley and an hour’s drive just outside the city of Kelowna. We love it here because the mountain village is compact with everything that you need literally on your doorstep, and with superb ski-in ski-out accommodation options including hotels, self-contained apartments or chalets with private hot tubs on the deck. They really have thought of everything here, as you can order all of your groceries and have them delivered to your chalet before you arrive!

Big White is the perfect choice for families. There are 18 restaurants on-mountain as well as delis and cafes, so you can choose to dine as formally or informally as you please. There are also a handful of lovely bars and lively nightclubs too, so the quaint village is always buzzing, and there is entertainment for all ages.

The mountain has some outstanding credentials, 25 feet of snow annually, with 2,550 acres of skiable terrain and 118 runs, this is an excellent resort for intermediate and expert skiers, as some of the runs will really challenge you and help you to build upon your snow skills. You will be in awe of Big White's famed Snow Ghost trees on the top of the mountain, fully covered with snow the trees take on incredible shapes and are magical to ski amongst.

For beginners there is a green right off nearly every lift on the mountain allowing novices to explore most of the mountain. There is also an amazing terrain park complete with recreational skier and boarder cross course to practice your skills.

There is an endless list of activities on offer at Big White. We love the outdoor ice rink as it is always a huge hit and the setting is beautiful and so it is very romantic for couples.

Kids love the Club Penguin tubing park, snowmobile rides, horse drawn carriage rides, night skiing, ice climbing wall and kid's carnival nights that are on twice weekly. There is so much to choose from!
