In the area
It is a fifteen minute stroll down the hill to downtown Banff, which has a good range of shops, from high street names to independent boutiques, as well as many restaurants and galleries. It is also home to the historic Banff Park Museum with a range of natural history exhibits, and the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies.
A ten minute drive through to the other side of Banff will bring you to the Banff Gondola which will whisk you to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for some spectacular views, as well as the Banff Upper Hot Springs where you can immerse yourself in the blissful mineral waters.
