In the area
Situated opposite the lovely Simcoe Park, the hotel is a few steps from the main downtown shopping streets of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The town is often referred to as ‘the prettiest town in Ontario’ and it certainly earns that title, its avenues lined with perfectly manicured flowerbeds, traditional storefronts and even horse-drawn carriages.
The town is also known for its luxury spas and arts scene, with many art galleries and events over the year, it is home to the world-class Shaw Festival Theatre.
Fort George is a ten minute walk from the hotel and has a fascinating history, being the site of several battles during the War of 1812.
