Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS)

We have recently been advised that the United States Department of Homeland Security will be implementing the Secure Flight Over-flight Program for all flights that fly over or close to American airspace.

This affects all of our Canadian flights to and from:

  • Toronto
  • Ottawa
  • Montreal
  • Halifax

The purpose of this new program is to enhance the security of air travel in and near United States air space. It requires all airlines to collect in Advance of travel specific Passenger Information (API). This is compulsory information and failure to submit this could result in passengers being refused to fly.

This is scheduled to be implemented from all flights starting Sunday February 12th 2012.

The Advanced Passenger Information that we require for every passenger booked to travel is just the:

  • Middle name(s) (if applicable) for every booked passenger
  • Date of birth for every booked passenger

This information is mandatory for anyone wishing to fly to these above listed Canadian cities regardless of their departure airport

To make this process easy and quick for you, we have created this online webpage where you can input this information and it will be placed directly into your booking. It is that simple.
