Best Western Plus Gateway to the Falls

Located in the centre of Clearwater, the Best Western Plus Gateway to the Falls is just 45 minutes drive from the spectacular Wells Gray Provincial Park, a large wilderness famed for its thundering waterfalls. Home to the world’s only old-growth inland temperate rainforest this park contains countless tranquil lakes, powerful rivers, and soaring mountain peaks. There are excellent birding and wildlife viewing opportunities and hiking trails for all abilities ranging from a few minutes on a level trail a breath-taking viewpoint to many days with a map and compass. The jewel of the park is Helmcken Falls plunging into a dramatic canyon from 141 metres in height, visitors can take in the view from the viewing platform, or choose the more adventurous South Rim Trail.
