Day 2 - 3 Vancouver – Whistler
This morning you head north on the Sea-to-Sky Highway, you enter a land of snow-dusted mountains, dark conifers and glistening lakes as you cross the up-and-down landscape of British Columbia. Travel the old Gold Rush Trail and on to the adventure capital of Western Canada! Perhaps better known as a winter resort, Whistler has plenty of heart-pumping action all year round. Get on your bike, zip line through the trees or even take a scenic glacier flight! Whether you're an adrenaline junkie, foodie or someone who likes to be at one with nature, there's something for everyone in Whistler.
Day 4 - 5 Wells Gray Provincial Park
Don't let the fact that Wells Gray is not a national park fool you, this place is stunning! Home to the famous Helmcken Falls, Canada's fourth highest waterfall, the park boasts beautiful meadows full of wildflowers and bear roam freely around the park. Wells Gray is what Canadian dreams are made of and nature will never have felt closer. Embrace the stillness, silence and isolation of Wells Gray before it's time to leave this beautiful park and head to the equally as incredible Jasper National Park. Tonight you'll stay in a guest ranch for an authentic Canadian experience right inside the park itself.
Day 6 - 7 Jasper National Park
Legendary Jasper is your next stop! The largest national park in Canada, Jasper will leave you stunned from the get go, as an abundance of wildlife fights for your attention and jagged mountain peaks surround you at every turn. People travel from far and wide to marvel at this stunner of a park or to hike or bike its famous trails. Horseback riding through the Canadian Rockies offers the ultimate wild experience!
Day 8 - 9 Lake Louise
The widescreen scenery and breath-taking views keep on coming as you drive the Icefields Parkway. The park offers endless valleys, sheer ridges, glaciers and spruce forests - truly one of the world's ultimate drives, so sit back and relax. Then strap on some crampons and head onto the Athabasca glacier for a hike with a difference! With a nickname like the `Gem of the Rockies' is a lot to live up to, but it's no sweat for Lake Louise. The imposing chateau looks on as mountains cluster around the turquoise surface. If this isn't a photo opportunity at its best then we don't know what is. Once you've stopped gawking at the incredible scenery that surrounds you, hike out to the Plain-of-Six-Glaciers or soak up the scenery by paddle power and rent canoes to explore the lake at your leisure
Day 10 - 11 Banff National Park
Boot up and breathe in the crisp alpine air with the resident beavers, bear, porcupines and elk. Whether you explore Banff by car, bike, canoe or snowshoe you'll be left speechless by its endless beauty. With 1600 kilometres of trails, a town full of heritage and some incredible wildlife, you won't want to leave this mountain wonderland. One of the more popular trails in the park is the Sundance Canyon Trail, a laidback walk past rolling hills, flowing streams and through narrow canyons. If you still haven't had your canyon fix for the day then hit the trails to Johnston Canyon for spectacular views. If all this fresh air and stretching of your legs has left you feeling a little weary, hitch a ride on the Banff Gondola to the peak of Sulphur Mountain, where you can recharge your batteries on an included trip to Banff's heavenly hot springs.
