Itinerary

Day 1 Montreal

From Montréal Airport, collect your car hire and drive to your downtown hotel. Overnight in Montréal.

Day 2 Montreal to Montmagny

Travel eastward alongside the St. Lawrence River through the cultural heartland of French Canada.

Day 3 Montmagny to Edmundston

Travel through eastern Québec to experience a true taste of Québecois culture, before crossing into New Brunswick.

Day 4 Edmundston to St. Andrews-By-The-Sea

Journey through New Brunswick en route to the province’s southern shores. Arriving in the charming maritime community of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea.

Day 5 St. Andrews-By-The-Sea

Experience a day in the life of an East Coast villager. Embark on a marine wildlife and whale watching tour.

Day 6 St. Andrews-By-The-Sea to Digby

Take the short journey to Saint John and enjoy a ferry ride across the deep blue waters of the Bay of Fundy.

Day 7 Digby to Halifax

Crossing the width of Nova Scotia, your route to Halifax takes you alongside the gates of Kejimkujik National Park and Peggy’s cove.

Day 8 Halifax to Baddeck

Drive through the centre of Nova Scotia and arrive in Baddeck, often known as the gateway to the Cape Breton Highlands.

Day 9 Baddeck

Today, we suggest a scenic drive along the Cabot Trail into the highlands of northern Cape Breton.

Day 10 Baddeck to Shediac

On the route back into New Brunswick, treat yourself to a lobster dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Day 11 Shediac to Caraquet

Heading up the coast to Caraquet, stop at Kouchibouguac National Park.

Day 12 Caraquet to Perce

Follow the shores of the Baie des Chaleurs, crossing the border back into Québec.

Day 13 Perce

Once the largest fishing port in Gaspé, Percé is now the gem of the entire region.

Day 14 Perce to Matane

Passing by the Gulf of St. Lawrence, arrive in Matane. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 15 Matane to Tadoussac

Cross the wide waters of the St. Lawrence River to Baie-Comeau.

Day 16 Tadoussac to Quebec City

As the river narrows, the spires and fortifications of Québec City come into view.

Day 17 Quebec City

Today you depart on a tour of historic and modern Québec City.

Day 18 Quebec City

Proceed to Montréal International Airport for your flight home.
