Day 1 – Vancouver
Upon arriving in Vancouver check in to your downtown hotel prior to exploring downtown. Take in the sights and smells of Granville Island or Vancouver's Chinatown.
Day 2 - Vancouver
Arrive at the cruise terminal in Vancouver's wonderful Canada Place. Check in to your stateroom for the next 7 days at sea to celebrate America's Independence Day
Day 3 - At Sea
Take the time to explore more of the Queen Elizabeth and her art deco design
Day 4 - 5 - San Francisco, California, USA
Laid back San Francisco is home to a mix of cultures and the world famous Golden Gate Bridge. This is the perfect destination to take in the Indepence Day celebrations.
Day 6 - At Sea
Why not earn an industry recognised qualification whilst at sea. You could pick up a Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits.
Day 7 - Astoria, Oregon, USA
The oldest US city west of the Rocky Mountains, Atsoria boasts a bueatiful collection of musuems, forst and Victorian architecture. Stroll along thr Astoria Riverwalk with stunning river views, you'll pass under the 4.1 mile long Astoria-Megler Bridge and get a glimpse of the sea lions lounging on the docks at 36th Street. Visit the Astoria Column at 125 feet tall this is one of the city's proudest landmarks. Keep an eye out for a film crew as it is frequently used as a movie location.
Day 8 - Victoria
The capital of British Columbia possesses a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary charisma. there is ample opportunity for whale watching and wildlife viewing.
Day 9 - Vancouver
Once disembarking the ship spend time exploring this scenic city on your own
Day 10 - Rocky Mountaineer Vancouver to Kamloops
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Vancouver Station, travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room.
Day 11 - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Jasper
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station, today your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Your rail journey ends this evening on arrival in the resort town of Jasper.
Day 12 - Jasper Highlights Tour
Jasper National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Canadian Rockies’ largest national park, today you will enjoy a scenic day tour of some of the park’s natural attractions. Lunch Included. The rest of the evening is at your leisure
Day 13 - Jasper to Banff
Travel to Banff via one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier. Afterwards, a brief stop will be made at Bow Lake before arriving in Banff
Day 14 - Banff to Lake Louise
A half-day motorcoach tour takes you into Yoho National Park at the end of the tour you will be transferred to Lake Louise where you will stay overnight.
Day 15 - Lake Louise to Calgary with Panoramic Helicopter Tour
Enjoy a full-day tour starting with a sightseeing tour of Banff. Highlights include Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner, and the Hoodoos. Admission to the Banff Gondola is included. Continue on to Kananaskis for a Panoramic Helicopter Tour. Your tour ends in Calgary late this afternoon. Overnight in Calgary.
Day 16 - Fly Home to UK
Spend time in downtown Calgary taking in the sights and sounds of this gateway city before flying home
ESTA online application for entry to the USA
Your cruise arrives back into port in the early morning, giving you time for a last whip around the shops in Vancouver, or a final afternoon in the sunshine by English Bay before you make your way to the airport for your return flight home. Important: All cruise passengers must complete the online Visa Waiver form by visiting https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov which is needed for entry into the US at a cost of $14 per person.
You must complete an ESTA application at least 72 hours before flying. Any traveller who fails to complete an ESTA application at least 3 days before departure will almost certainly be refused entry into the country under new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. If you are even considering visiting the States, it's worth filling out an ESTA application now as they are valid for two years.
Important: If you are refused entry because you do not hold the correct travel documents or have had your application for ESTA rejected - you will NOT be entitled to any form of refund or covered by your travel insurance policy.
