Day 1 Calgary – Banff
After your flight, your scheduled transfer will take you to the charming mountain town of Banff. Relax in the Hot Springs or head up Sunshine Mountain on a scenic gondola ride to enjoy incredible views
Day 2 On-board Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Kamloops
Today, board the Rocky Mountaineer to travel west. Enjoy some of the most spectacular sights in western Canada. Overnight in Kamloops
Day 3 On-board Rocky Mountaineer from Kamloops to Vancouver
The journey leads through the “cowboy country” ranch land of British Columbia passing lush forests. Arriving in Vancouver, enjoy the rest of the day exploring, one of Canada’s most diverse cities.
Day 4 - 5 - Vancouver
Take in the downtown core of this beautiful West Coast city. Why not take a stroll through Stanley Park along the seawall or visit the infamous Gastown Steam Clock. If you would like to get outdoors visit Grouse Mountain, home to the Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife, where you can visit Grinder and Coola Grouse Mountain's resident grizzlies.
Day 6 - Independence Day Cruise to San Francisco
Arrive at the cruise terminal in Vancouver's wonderful Canada Place. Check in to your stateroom for the next 7 days at sea to celebrate America's Independence Day

Day 8 -9 - San Francisco, California, USA
Laid back San Francisco is home to a mix of cultures and the world famous Golden Gate Bridge. This is the perfect destination to take in the Independence Day celebrations.
Day 10 - At Sea
Why not earn an industry recognised qualification whilst at sea. You could pick up a Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits.
Day 11 - Astoria, Oregon, USA
The oldest US city west of the Rocky Mountains, Atsoria boasts a bueatiful collection of musuems, forst and Victorian architecture. Stroll along thr Astoria Riverwalk with stunning river views, you'll pass under the 4.1 mile long Astoria-Megler Bridge and get a glimpse of the sea lions lounging on the docks at 36th Street. Visit the Astoria Column at 125 feet tall this is one of the city's proudest landmarks. Keep an eye out for a film crew as it is frequently used as a movie location.
Day 12 - Victoria
The capital of British Columbia possesses a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary charisma. there is ample opportunity for whale watching and wildlife viewing.
Day 13 - Fly from Vancouver - End of the tour
Your cruise arrives back into port in the early morning, giving you time for a last whip around the shops in Vancouver, or a final afternoon in the sunshine by English Bay before you make your way to the airport for your return flight home.

Important: All cruise passengers must complete the online Visa Waiver form by visiting https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov which is needed for entry into the US at a cost of $14 per person.
You must complete an ESTA application at least 72 hours before flying. Any traveller who fails to complete an ESTA application at least 3 days before departure will almost certainly be refused entry into the country under new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. If you are even considering visiting the States, it's worth filling out an ESTA application now as they are valid for two years.
