Vancouver
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. The next day is yours to explore this enchanting coastal city. Stroll the historic district of Gastown, which is home to fabulous restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops, take flight at Flyover Canada or join a whale watching tour and go in search of BC's resident orcas.
Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From inside Rocky Mountaineer's signature glass dome carriages you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like interior.
Rocky Mountaineer to Jasper
Your journey continues north and then eastwards as you follow the back of the North Thompson River. Soon you find yourself surrounded by the Rocky and Cariboo Mountain ranges and pass by Mount Robson which, at 3,954 metres high, is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.
Jasper
You have a free day in Jasper to relax in the town's numerous cafes or explore the surrounding national park. An hour from Jasper is the famous Maligne Lake where you can take a boat cruise onto Spirit Island. Look out for wildlife, Jasper is known for the herd of Elk that graze on the outskirts of town.
Lake Louise
Travel from Jasper to Lake Louise on one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. After a photo stop at the Athabasca Falls, you will stop at the Columbia Icefield, one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn about its geological features. Lunch is provided at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. Afterwards, a brief stop will be made at Bow Lake before arriving in Lake Louise in the afternoon. After all this excitement you have a free day in Lake Louise to fully absorb the majestic scenery before you. Paddle the lake by canoe, take a stroll by the lakeside or simply sit back and take it all in!
Banff
After a relaxing morning in Lake Louise, join a half day sightseeing tour of Yoho National Park and its many natural wonders including Emerald Lake and a stunning natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. At the end of the tour your will be transferred to Banff. The next day in Banff is yours to explore independently. This mountain town has plenty to see and do, from relaxing in the historic hot springs to outdoor wildlife adventures.
Calgary
Today you will enjoy a full day sightseeing tour to Calgary. Begin the day with a tour of Banff, including Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. After free time for lunch, take a journey up Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola for spectacular views over the town and the Bow Valley.
Fly home
Your Canadian adventure has come to an end. Transfer independently to Calgary International Airport for your flight home.
