Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Calgary

Board your flight to Calgary. Upon arrival, your shuttle transfer will take you to Banff, the most famous town of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Spend 3 nights in the lovely town of Banff.

Day 2 – 3 Banff

Enjoy the stunning surrounding by discovering Banff National Park, the Banff Hot Springs or hike on one of the numerous trails circling around emerald lakes. Make sure to pay a visit to Lake Louise, the “Jewel of the Rocky Mountains”.

Day 4 – 5 Jasper

Today a scheduled transfer takes you on one of the most scenic drives of North America, the Icefields Parkway. Cruise along the Continental Divide through soaring rocky mountain peaks, Icefields and vast sweeping valleys. Settle in Jasper for 2 nights. Discover the quaint town of Jasper and Jasper National Park at your leisure.

Day 6 Rocky Mountaineer Jasper to Kamloops

This morning you set off early with your transfer to the Rocky Mountaineer train station, where you will board your Rocky Mountaineer train, for one of the most unforgettable experiences. Some of the highlights include scenic valleys, plentiful wildlife and the sublime Mount Robson.

Day 7 Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver

Get ready early this morning for the second part of your two-day train tour. Today your journey follows the Fraser Canyon and the Coastal Mountain range down to Vancouver. Spend the evening in the bustling city of Vancouver by the Pacific Ocean.

Day 8 - 9 Vancouver

Tour the city at your leisure. Explore the diverse neighborhoods, the grand Stanley Park or shop on Robson Street. You can also book optional excursions to visit Grouse Mountain or Capilano Suspension Bridge. Enjoy the remaining 2 nights exploring this cosmopolitan city

Day 10 Vancouver - Port Hardy - Great Bear Lodge

Today you are heading to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island, where you will meet your representative. You will be assisted with your transfer by seaplane to the Great Bear Lodge. After being shown your private room, it will be time for your first thrilling wildlife viewing session. Treat your taste buds to a fresh gourmet meal for dinner and relax in the lodge’s sitting room or stargaze on its large decks.

Day 11-13 Great Bear Lodge

The Great Bear Lodge takes pride in promoting low-impact ecotourism to keep the bears’ environment intact. Your scheduled morning and afternoon bear viewing sessions therefore coincide with times when the bears are the most active. You will observe the bears roaming freely as you float by boat through estuaries or watch from specially-designed viewing areas.

Day 14 Great Bear Lodge – Port Hardy

Participate in a final bear watching session and a farewell brunch before being transferred back to Port Hardy by seaplane. Overnight in Port Hardy

Day 15 – Vancouver

Your scheduled transfer will take you back to Vancouver where you can enjoy your final night exploring this remarkable city.

Day 16 Fly from Vancouver

After a relaxing breakfast and some last minute shopping, head to the airport independently for your flight home.
