In the area
The lively town of Banff is just a twenty minute stroll from the hotel, and offers great shopping as well as plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants to sample.
For something more active, head up Tunnel Mountain, known to the First Nations as the ‘Sleeping Buffalo’ on a relatively easy hike to the summit for some lovely views of the town and winding Bow River below, as well as the surrounding mountain ranges.
For the opposite, visit the historic Upper Hot Springs to the south and bathe in the relaxing mineral waters, kept at a balmy 37-40 degrees centigrade.
