The Strathcona Park Lodge is a charming resort in the wilderness on the banks of the Upper Campbell Lake in stunning surroundings.
Accommodation comprises of hotel rooms spread between four large lodge buildings, from standard doubles, to two-bedroom suites, and one to three –bedroom cottages dotted along the shores of the lake with kitchenettes and covered decks.
The hotel has a lovely south-facing swimming lagoon and a wood-fired sauna, as well as two restaurants – The Whale Room is a family buffet restaurant and Myrna’s a casual friendly cafe with a tasty menu – as well as The High Bracer games and internet lounge.

In the area
The resort is set in beautiful grounds and offers plenty of activities onsite. For those looking for adventure, there are three rock climbing cliffs, a large high ropes course, two zip lines, two giant tree climbs and a low ropes course. The Waterfront Centre on the lake hires canoes, kayaks and motor boats, while the sandy swimming beach has a floating raft and beach games to enjoy. There are also over 10 kilometres of scenic hiking trails in the area.
The lodge offers many fantastic expeditions, including the Wildlife Tracking Experience, following large and small animals through the pristine Tlools Valley.
