In the area
The hotel is a short stroll into the centre of Jasper which is a friendly small mountain town with plenty of boutiques and stores to wander around as well as bars and restaurants to sample.
The Jasper-Yellowhead Museum is an interesting guide to the beginnings of the area, while the gallery at the Fairmont Hotel has some beautiful pieces on display.
There are plenty of hikes for all abilities through the stunning local landscapes, or take the Jasper SkyTram, 15 minutes south of the hotel, up Whistler Mountain for a breathtaking vista across the town and the mountain ranges that surround it.
