HotelsThe Lac le Jeune is a charming rustic resort with an idyllic location on the shores of Lac le Jeune.
Accommodation is a combination of classic hotel rooms, many with balconies, log cabins with fantastic views of the lake and full kitchens, and larger chalets. All have free wifi, televisions and plenty of local entertainment including ospreys diving for their dinner, leaping Rainbow Trout and the occasional passing beaver.
There are basketball nets and a children’s splash park, as well as a gift shop in the main lodge. The Fireside Dining Room is a cosy place to enjoy a hearty meal, and Whiskey Jack Lounge is a relaxing bar.

In the area
The resort hires motor boats, rowing boats and canoes so you can head out onto the glasslike lake and explore its bays and coves, and there is a sandy swimming beach nearby.
Take part in one of the regular fishing derby’s and try to snag one of the biggest trout, or enjoy a hike around through the local forests and lakes and see if you can tick off some of the wide range of bird species.
The town of Kamloops is just forty minutes’ drive away and has good selection of shops and restaurants, as well as many pretty parks.
