ARRIVAL IN CALGARY
Arrive at Calgary International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Pick up your Jonview Canada Roadbook at the front desk as you check in. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the many attractions of this urban cowboy city. Overnight in Calgary..

Day 2

CALGARY TO BANFF
Leaving Calgary behind, you will set your sights today on the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Feel the majesty of these mountains as you first travel through the foothills and then enter Banff National Park where the craggy peaks loom larger the closer you get. After you have arrived in the bustling town of Banff, the remainder of the day is
free to explore its charms. Overnight in Banff.

Day 3

BANFF
Banff is yours to discover today. You can visit the Cave and Basin, Bow Falls and take a thrilling gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. You can also visit the Banff National History Museum, or take a boat tour. Overnight in Banff.

Day 4

Banff to Lake Louise
Take a scenic drive to Lake Louise today, with Banff National Park as your scenery. With the Victoria Glacier in the background, emerald-coloured Lake Louise leaves a lingering impression. At 6°C, the water is too cold for swimming, but canoeing is a great alternative. A 6.5 km trail leads up to the Plain of Six Glaciers teahouse. The beauty of the lake can also be admired from inside the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel, which stands atop a giant glacial moraine. Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 6

Lake Louise to Jasper
You’ll head towards Jasper today and pass through Jasper National Park. We suggest a Maligne Lake Boat cruise, a visit to Miette Hot Springs, or a ride on the Jasper tramway. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 7

JASPER
Today is yours to explore Jasper on your won. Enjoy the breathtaking panorama of Jasper National Park’s serene lakes and gentle meadows standing in stark contrast to its jagged peaks and spectacular glaciers. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 8

JASPER to EDMONTON
Today you’ll travel a scenic route east from Jasper to Edmonton. Stop in Edson, one of many early-20th century mining towns that were founded by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway to solve its demand for coal. Following the closure of the mine, Edson developed into a recreational centre for camping and fishing. Overnight in Edmonton.

EDMONTON
Enjoy the many attractions that this urban centre and provincial capital has to offer. Don’t miss the West Edmonton Mall, holding the distinction of being the largest combined shopping and entertainment centre in the world! Overnight in Edmonton.

Day 10

EDMONTON to DRUMHELLER
Leave Edmonton and travel towards Drumheller. Make a stop in Red Deer and visit Waskasoo Park, covering 1,000 hectares along the Red Deer River corridor through the centre of Red Deer. This 80-kilometre-long system of walking, cycling and  riding trails offers a variety of activities including canoeing, fishing and cross-country skiing. Overnight in Drumheller.

DRUMHELLER
Spend the day in Drumheller. We suggest a visit to the fascinating Royal Tyrrell Museum of Archaeology. Surrounded by one of the world’s richest fossil deposits, this museum houses 35 complete dinosaur skeletons and is home to an entertaining multimedia exhibit. Overnight in Drumheller

Day 12

Drumheller to Calgary
Make a stop in Airdie on the way to Calgary where you can visit the Nose Creek Valley Museum featuring one of the province’s best collections of southern Alberta native artefacts and replicas, including a restored 1942 caboose, reproduction of a 1917 blacksmith shop, a pioneer home, a general store and a display of vintage automobiles.
