Varied Terrain

The resort has some outstanding mountain credentials – a vertical drop of 5,620 feet, over 3,100 acres of varied terrain, and the longest lift-serviced vertical in North America – the 8 person Revelation Gondola – with a vertical ride of 3,547 feet!!

The terrain is varied, but the mountain is especially good for experts and those seeking a bit more of a challenge and with these statistics you can see why! Revelstoke Mountain Resort is also the only resort in the world that offers lift, cat, heli and backcountry skiing from the one resort, so you can try your hand at something different on your holiday too!

 

Beginners Catered-For

If you are a beginner, then fear not!

New for the 2011-12 season RMR will be adding in additional beginner terrain on the lower mountain, a second magic carpet, a family-focused tube park and child minding services at the base of the resort.

A new snow school program for children will also be part of the additional services for families.

Lower-intermediate skiers will also enjoy the new grading on the lower mountain and variety of groomed terrain off the Revelation Gondola where they can progress their skills.

 

Action Packed

The spectacular mountain setting is ideal - just a two hour drive from Kelowna, and only two and a half hours drive from Kamloops - you are surrounded by rugged snow capped peaks as far as the eye can see.

The mountain resort is located just 6kms from the town of Revelstoke where you will find a wealth of activities on offer for those that are occasional or non-skiers too, such as ice skating, snowmobiling, the natural hot springs and the Revelstoke Arena which is home to the Revelstoke Grizzlies Hockey Team.

 

Ski in Accommodation

For those looking for ski-in ski-out access to the mountain, you can stay at the luxurious Nelsen Lodge right at the foot of the mountain, or if you would rather stay in the downtown area you can enjoy use of the free shuttle bus to the slopes which is included in your lift pass.

Après Ski

Après ski in Revelstoke is great fun, with so many places to choose from! At the base of the mountain you will find the Rockford Wok|Bar|Grill and the new wine bar 'Wino', perfect for a glass of BC’s incredible wine and snacks from the tapas menu. In downtown Revelstoke you will find loads of trendy restaurants, bars and clubs to dance the night away in and enjoy some live music and cold drink after a day on the slopes.
