Boston
Arrive at Boston Logan International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Boston is the largest city in New England and one of the oldest in the United States. Steeped in history from the American Revolution, you can explore the Freedom Trail, taking you past some of the city's historic landmarks including Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's home, the Old North Church, and the USS Constitution in Boston Harbour. Be sure to enjoy a walk around Boston Common - an oasis in the city centre.

Norwegian Cruise Line
After some last-minute sightseeing arrive independently at the cruise terminal and board your Norwegian Cruise Line ship.
*This is a sample itinerary that may vary by sailing date.

Bar Harbor
This coastal town was made popular in the 1900’s when America’s elite vacationed here in their summer cottages, since then the harbour is well known for its proximity to the world-famous Acadia National Park. The park is one of the first places in the United States to see the sunrise everyday and during the fall season will open your eyes to dramatic reds and oranges as the changing of colour descends onto the region. Take in a culinary tour for local food and craft beer.

Halifax
Boasting the world’s second largest natural harbour Halifax offers a capital with strong ties to the ocean and the food that she brings. The cuisine on offer here is second to none offering any culinary connoisseur fare of all kinds. Visit the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 to learn about Canada’s immigration. Hear the story of Peggy’s Cove where less than 40 residents live year-round.

Sydney
Known for its beauty and unique Celtic music and culture, Sydney puts some of the Island's greatest sights and attractions at your fingertips when you disembark into the Joan Harris Cruise Pavilion. The dockside pavilion offers an array of shopping boutiques, a craft market, and the World's Largest Fiddle. Sydney is the gateway to Cape Breton, which is best experienced from the majestic Cabot Trail, considered one of the world's most scenic drives.

Charlottetown
Charlottetown might be a small city, but it has a lot to offer anyone who visits. It has huge charm and its hospitality sums up what Prince Edward Island is famous for. Culinary experiences and art and culture are the main themes. Sample the handmade jams, visit the Anne of Green Gables homestead and stroll the boardwalk to take in the Victorian architecture and red sandstone cliffs.

Gulf of St Lawrence
With a day at sea, you have time to explore the ship. Relax and rejuvenate in the Mandara Spa, spend some time on deck looking for the marine wildlife that call the Gulf of St. Lawrence River home and be sure to revisit your favourite restaurant. Onboard is a wide range of delicious speciality and complimentary dining options, including Cagney's Steakhouse and La Cucina Italian.

Saguenay
Grab a seat on deck and marvel as the ship cruises down the Saguenay Fjord Route, a breath-taking landscape of sea, mountains and rising cliffs protected by three National Parks. With a decidedly French atmosphere and a touch of the Old World, the banks of the Saguenay Fjord are lined with charming villages surrounded by beautiful landscapes, join a shore excursion to explore this region.

Québec City
Disembark your cruise in Québec City, lying on the Saint Lawrence River and divided by steep bluffs into Upper Town and Lower Town. Explore the historic Old City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only fortified city on the continent north of Mexico. Many of the city’s oldest and grandest buildings are found within these walls, such as the Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral, the Citadelle de Québec and the Château Frontenac, the worlds most photographed building!

Montréal
One of the easiest and most scenic ways to explore Canada’s eastern cities is by train, VIA Rail will get you from Québec City into Montréal in approximately 3 hours. You have time to explore the city and all the attractions it has to offer. There is no better place to start than in the historic Old Town, home to the Notre-Dame Basilica, which is one of the most beautiful Catholic churches in Canada. For art lovers, Montréal’s Museum of Fine Arts is a must visit, with centuries' worth of paintings, sculptures, and more on display.

Ottawa
Board VIA Rail and watch the changing landscapes pass as your journey into the province of Ontario. Canada’s capital is one of its most dynamic and exciting cities with a myriad of landmarks, museums, galleries, and restaurants. Explore Ottawa’s most visited attraction; Parliament Hill, which is the seat of Canada’s federal government. We also recommend discovering the Rideau Canal, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The canal still operates to this day along its original route and with most of its original structures.

Kingston
It’s time to ride the rails again to Kingston, gateway to the stunning 1000 Islands National Park and Canada’s original capital city. Departing from downtown Kingston cruises sail into the heart of the Admiralty Islands, home to the highest concentration of small cottage islands and picturesque channels in the 1000 Islands. A walkable city, Kingston is home to Ontario’s oldest public market and Canada’s hippest live music scene, and a place where hidden alleyways contain antique markets and restaurant patios.

Toronto
It’s time to travel on board VIA Rail for one last time, heading to Toronto which is a jewel in eastern Canada’s crown as it is beautifully located on the shores of Lake Ontario and is one of the world’s most vibrant cities. Travel up the iconic CN Tower, be spoilt for choice in the foodie’s heaven that is St Lawrence Market and stroll the Art Gallery of Ontario, home to an impressive 95,000 pieces of artwork from Canada and the rest of the world.

Niagara-on-the-Lake
A scheduled transfer will take you to Niagara-on-the-Lake, a well-preserved 19th-century village in the heart of Ontario Wine Country that is often described as the prettiest town in the province. Wander through the Heritage District as you discover whimsical boutiques, enthralling antique shops and delightful bistros whilst beyond the quaint old town, there are several wineries, breweries and distilleries. Make a visit to the iconic Niagara Falls, located only 20 kilometres away.

Fly Home
Enjoy a final day of sight-seeing and last-minute gift shopping before your scheduled transfer takes you to Toronto Pearson International Airport in time for your flight home.
