Itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Calgary
Arriving independently in the Stampede City of Calgary, you will check in at your downtown hotel where you will pick up your information kit. The rest of the day is yours to explore the vibrant city and enjoy the sights. Spend the night in Calgary.
Day 2 Calgary to Banff
Depart Calgary today and head into the mountains to Banff, one of the most popular towns in the Rockies. It has a great town centre full of bars, restaurants and shops, right in the heart of the Rockies, so enjoy the majestic setting. Spend the night in Banff.
Day 3 Banff to Lake Louise
Enjoy a scenic transfer from to Banff to Lake Louise, one of the most photographed lakes in the world, its beauty will leave you breathless. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Day 4 Lake Louise to Jasper
This morning you will enjoy one of the most scenic drives in all of Canada as you travel down the Icefields Parkway from stunning Lake Louise to Jasper. Stopping at the Athabasca Glacier, enjoy a thrilling ride on an Ice Explorer and soak in the views from the amazing Glacier Skywalk before continuing onto Jasper. Spend the night in Jasper.
Day 5 Jasper
Jasper is a fantastic small mountain town in a remote location in the heart of the Rockies. With Rocky Mountains as far as the eye can see and local wildlife sharing the pavement with you, you will fall in love with the local charm instantly. Spend the day exploring and spend the night in Jasper.
Day 6 Rocky Mountaineer Jasper to Kamloops
Embarking on a trip of a lifetime this morning you will board the Rocky Mountaineer train and head for breathtaking scenery at every turn. As you depart the Canadian Rocky Mountains you will pass Mount Robson, the highest peak. All around you are beautiful mountain peaks, glistening blue lakes and carpets of lush green forest, and watch out for some of the intriguing local wildlife! Breakfast and lunch included. Spend the night in Kamloops.
Day 7 Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver
Continuing your wonderful journey onboard the Rocky Mountaineer, you will next head for beautiful landscapes and the enchanting Coastal mountain ranges that surround the edges of Vancouver. Arrive into the beautiful city of Vancouver where you will spend the night. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 8 Fly from Vancouver - End of the Tour
The morning is yours to fill with last minute shopping or sightseeing in the city before you make your way independently back to the airport for your return flight home.
