Nova Scotia Holidays
Nova Scotia holidays offer scenic coastal drives, natural wonders, rich maritime heritage and welcoming seaside communities. This is where you will find the famous Bay of Fundy, a top whale-watching destination in Canada and home to the highest tidal range recorded on Earth. Drive dramatic coastal routes, such as the iconic Cabot Trail for sweeping ocean views or the Lighthouse Route for historic lighthouses and fishing villages, such as Peggy’s Cove and the UNESCO-designated Lunenburg. Outdoor adventures are around every corner here, from sailing, sea kayaking and coastal hiking to camping and stargazing in stunning parks, alongside legendary seafood, such as the delicious Atlantic lobster and the famous Digby scallops.

Best time to visit Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia is surrounded almost entirely by water which influences its weather. It is moderate, neither too hot nor extremely cold.
Summer is the best time to visit Nova Scotia if you want to enjoy the beaches, go whale watching, hiking or try water sports on your holiday. From mid-June until mid-September, daily temperatures are between 20°C and 25°C but with humidity they can rise to 30°C - 32°C.
Those planning to book Nova Scotia holidays in autumn (mid-September - mid-November), can still enjoy warm weather with daily temperatures of 10°C - 20°C. The first two weeks of October is the best time to see the spectacular fall foliage, especially in local beauty spots, such as on the scenic Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island.
From mid-November until mid-December, the weather starts getting colder (0°C - 10°C), and the approaching winter can be felt more considerably.
Spring comes in mid-March, with daily highs of up to 10°C which gradually rise to 20°C towards June. Visiting Nova Scotia between late May and early June is ideal for blooming landscapes, fewer crowds, and generally better value of flights to Canada and accommodation.
