In the area
The hotel is on the waterfront, next to Confederation Landing Park, the historic Founder’s Hall, which now houses an interesting interactive museum telling the story of Canada’s inception, as well as plenty of shops and restaurants at Peakes Wharf.
On the other side of the hotel is the Prince Edward Island Regimental Museum, an equally fascinating collection of military artefacts and uniforms.
A short walk inland takes you to the beautiful St Dunstan’s Cathedral with many restaurants and cafes in the area, while a little further, past Province House Historic Site, is the popular Confederation Court Mall.
