Hannah has only started working at Canadian Affair in the last year but having lived and worked in Canada for two years before coming to us she is certainly a Canada travel expert. Here you can find out more about her experiences in Canada in her own words.

How long have you been a Canada travel expert?
I have only been working for Canadian Affair since 2024 but I previously lived in Canada for two years so was already something of an expert.
Where have you visited in Canada?
Whilst living and working in Canada I spent time in Toronto, Blue Mountain, Vancouver, Kelowna and Banff. I’ve also travelled around the Rockies, Quebec and Nova Scotia.
What is your favourite destination in Canada?
Kelowna – perfect for visiting wineries and enjoying lakeside patios in the summer, and snowboarding at Big White in the winter.
What was your favourite experience in Canada?
Taking a Helicopter Tour from Abraham Lake over the Rockies.

Where would you recommend for a first time visit to Canada?
I would recommend Vancouver and the Rockies – a perfect introduction to Canada with the contrast of a vibrant city and stunning scenery.
What's a hidden gem in Canada?
Revelstoke is a smaller mountain town, with a great ski resort in the winter and beautiful outdoor activities in the summer such as kayaking.
What is your top tip for a Canada Holiday?
Try not to squeeze too much into one trip; with so many great places to visit there’s plenty of reasons to go back again!
