Coffee and walk in Saint Boniface
Bonjour mon ami! Enjoy a trek over the spectacular Esplanade Riel Pedestrian Bridge across from The Forks and you’ll find yourself in St. Boniface, founded in 1818 by Bishop Provencher for the colony’s French and Métis residents. It is also the birthplace of Louis Riel, the Métis leader who helped create of the province of Manitoba. Now it is home to one of the largest francophone communities west of the Great Lakes, and it is the heart of Manitoba's French history and culture. While here, you can stroll along le boulevard Provencher and visit boutiques and quaint cafés along the way. You can also enjoy walking tours where you will view more than 35 designated historical sites in this culturally-rich area and end the day with some scrumptious French pastries

The Manitoba Museum
The Manitoba Museum is the province’s largest, not-for-profit centre for heritage and science learning. We are renowned for our vivid portrayal of Manitoba’s rich and diverse history, Planetarium shows, and Science Gallery exhibits.
Museum Galleries
The Museum’s collections reflect the heritage of Manitoba and other regions of the world. Our nine interpretive galleries explore the interrelationship of people and their environment. Lunch at The Forks
Manitoba’s number one attraction, The Forks, is a four-season destination. Some of its many features include: entertaining walking tours from Parks Canada; a bustling market — home to shops selling local wares and food kiosks by some of Winnipeg’s best restaurants; the world’s longest naturally frozen skating trail in the winter; and art installations like the Warming Huts, which have been designed by some of the globe’s most well-known architects, artists, and design firms. Its a fantastic option for groups, as they can grab a bite to eat and shop local.
