Meadows in the Sky Parkway
Driving the 25-kilometre scenic road in Mount Revelstoke National Park will see you climbing from an elevation of 470 metres to the striking 1,835 metres at Balsam Lake, winding through beautiful forests. To reach the wildflower meadows, you must walk the final 1 kilometre to the summit. Soak up the views from the viewing platform at the Fire Lookout tower or explore a hiking trail. Many hiking routes start either from the summit or from the parking lot at Balsam Lake.
Pipe Mountain Coaster
Rated as the #1 summer attraction in Revelstoke, the mountain coaster is fun for the whole family. Reaching a top speed of up to 42 km/h (26 mph) but with the option to control your speed, it is suitable for young and old. There are two single-rail tracks winding down the mountain through its forests and ski runs. The total descend is 279 vertical metres (915 feet) and the ride takes approx. 3 minutes. To reach the Pipe Coaster, take the Revelation Gondola up to the mid-mountain station.
SUP at Lake Revelstoke
In the peak of summer, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is a Revelstoke locals’ favourite, and with so many rental options, including guided tours, it is easy to take to the water and enjoy a quiet escape on your holiday. Lake Revelstoke has several access points to launch your SUP, and many rental suppliers offer delivery of your gear to your preferred campground. Surrounded by incredible mountains covered in dense, lush-green forests, Lake Revelstoke is also ideal place to spot osprey and bald eagles soaring the sky and bears foraging the shores.

No, you cannot fly directly to Revelstoke. The closest airport serving the town is Kelowna International Airport which is approx. 2.5 hours away by car or a shuttle service.
No, you do not need a pass to visit the actual town of Revelstoke, however, visiting the nearby Mount Revelstoke National Park requires a valid Parks Canada entry ticket. If you are going on a holiday to Revelstoke, and would like to access the Revelation Gondola, the Revelstoke Skywalk or to try summer activities such as riding the Pipe Mountain Coaster at the Revelstoke resort, you must also purchase a separate resort pass.

- Banff – Revelstoke: 283 km (176 miles), approx. 3 hours
- Calgary – Revelstoke: 408 km (253 miles), approx. 4.5 hours
