A small, family run lodge, Helmcken Falls Lodge puts you on the doorstep of the spectacular Well Grays Provincial Park. Guest accommodation is spread around the grounds in eight buildings and a camping site. The lodge has a small gift and snack shop, as well as a cosy restaurant and lounge situated in the 1948 Main Lodge with covered outdoor seating and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

On the doorstep of Helmcken Falls Lodge is the spectacular Wells Gray Provincial Park, a large wilderness famed for its thundering waterfalls. Home to the world’s only old-growth inland temperate rainforest this park contains countless tranquil lakes, powerful rivers, and soaring mountain peaks. There are excellent birding and wildlife viewing opportunities and hiking trails for all abilities ranging from a few minutes on a level trail a breath-taking viewpoint to many days with a map and compass. The jewel of the park is Helmcken Falls plunging into a dramatic canyon from 141 metres in height, visitors can take in the view from the viewing platform, or choose the more adventurous South Rim Trail.
