Wells Gray Guest Ranch is an authentic and historic dude ranch in an enviable location in Wells Gray Provincial Park. The ranch offers handcrafted log cabins rooms which are the definition of comfort and relaxation and all come with a front porch affording fine views of the horse pasture and forest covered hills beyond. The Black Horse Saloon is a friendly authentic Western Saloon offering a buffet breakfast in the morning and hearty dinner in the evening (reservations required!).

Just 30 minutes drive from Wells Gray Guest Ranch is the spectacular Wells Gray Provincial Park, a large wilderness famed for its thundering waterfalls. Home to the world’s only old-growth inland temperate rainforest this park contains countless tranquil lakes, powerful rivers, and soaring mountain peaks. There are excellent birding and wildlife viewing opportunities and hiking trails for all abilities ranging from a few minutes on a level trail a breath-taking viewpoint to many days with a map and compass. The jewel of the park is Helmcken Falls plunging into a dramatic canyon from 141 metres in height, visitors can take in the view from the viewing platform, or choose the more adventurous South Rim Trail.
