Northern Lights Resort & Spa is set on 160 acres of private land, located a 20 minute drive southwest of Whitehorse on the Alaska highway. It is a year round resort with guests enjoying the warm summers with clear blue skies and 20 hours of sunshine or the magic Winter Wonderland and the spectacular Aurora Borealis at night. The well-appointed and cozy log cabins come with a large living/bedroom area complete with fireplace and en-suite bathroom. Built from Yukon-grown timber, the cabins create a very special atmosphere where guests immediately feel at home. Northern Lights Resort & Spa is located 20 km south of Whitehorse and is a qunitessential Yukon wilderness experiece. Bordered by the Yukon River and surrounded by mountains, Whitehorse is the gateway to epic wilderness adventures in the Yukon.
Visit the city to take a stroll on the riverside boardwalk and you'll pass many of the cultural attractions on offer, including the MacBride Museum of Yukon History and S.S. Klondike National Historic Site. Wilderness experiences are within easy reach of Whitehorse from the stunning emerald waters at Miles Canyon to the natural habitats and local fauna of the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. Whitehorse is one of the departure points of the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, built in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush, sit back on a journey through a splendid panorama of mountains, glaciers and gorges.
