Unplug on the remote Fox Island in the heart of Kenai Fjords National Park
Escape to the beautiful Fox Island within the beauty of Resurrection Bay for a wilderness adventure of a lifetime. The main lodge and charming waterfront cabins are nestled in the woods between a pebble beach and a quiet lagoon. Immense windows in the lodge overlook crystal clear waters and awe-inspiring views of Halibut Cove. Cabins are not equipped with electrical outlets or televisions meaning you can completely unplug and reconnect with nature.
A scenic boat transfer will transport you from the fishing town of Seward 12 miles into Kenai Fjords National Park. En route keep your eyes peeled for the mesmerising wildlife that grace the waterways such as sea lions and humpback whales. After your adventure on Fox Island, you will have the choice between two boat cruises to complete your adventure.
The lodge has teamed up with Sunny Cove Kayaking to bring you an included afternoon kayaking adventure to explore the island from the water. Self-guided exploration is also hugely popular, from a challenging steep hike through the luscious forest to skipping stones on the shoreline. At the end of your day enjoy the serenity of a wood fired sauna.

Sightseeing Cruise to Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge
You will arrive at the Stoney Creek Adventure Centre for 11am to board your cruising vessel and depart Seward for 11:30am to embark on a Resurrection Bay sightseeing cruise. The leisurely 5-hour cruise includes a delicious lunch and will take you by jagged cliffs, seabirds, marine wildlife, and alpine glaciers before you disembark at Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge. The rest of the day is at leisure to settle in and enjoy the lodge amenities. Lunch and dinner are included.
