Calgary
Arrive at Calgary International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city, why not head up the Calgary Tower for views over the prairies and distant Rocky Mountains?

Calgary Stampede
Over the next two days we welcome you to the event most appropriately named “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”. Included this afternoon is a ticket to the rodeo with gate admission. The best of the best saddle-up for a three hour ground shaking showcase of world-class rodeo action. There are Saddle Bronco and Bareback riding events followed by the most dangerous event of all - Bull Riding but the excitement doesn’t stop there, check out the speed and timing of the barrel racing or the fun of the children’s sheep riding events.

Calgary Stampede
Enjoy the atmosphere as the whole city embraces Stampede fever, if you are feeling hungry why not attend one of the free Calgary Stampede Breakfasts that the city has become well known for. Great food and hospitality await! Later today return to Stampede Park for the Rangeland Derby, where in the evening, nine heart-stopping Chuckwagon races explode in an all-out dash for the finish line. Chuckwagon racing is an amazing contest of nerves and horsepower - a challenge that ignites thousands of fans. Following this enjoy the outdoor stage spectacular. For two hours, you will be dazzled by the lavishly produced and choreographed non-stop musical variety grandstand show, featuring elaborate song and dance numbers and acrobatics.

Banff
Today a scheduled transfer will take you to Banff, one of the Rockies most popular mountain towns. With its bursting charm and breath-taking scenery, you will be sure to take home a true Canadian experience. You have a full day to explore so start by taking the Banff Gondola up to the top of Sulphur Mountain to enjoy incredible views and then stroll the riverside path to the beautiful Bow Falls. Have lunch downtown, in one of the many different restaurants and bistros, before taking a cruise on nearby Lake Minnewanka. After all that excitement, spend the evening relaxing in the thermal waters of the historic Banff Upper Hot Springs, a magical experience that has drawn visitors to Banff since 1886.

Jasper
Enjoy a scenic transfer up the Icefields Parkway to Jasper. The next day is free to explore the surrounding national park and its majestic scenery. We recommend you book an excursion to nearby Maligne Lake and cruise to Spirit Island, an iconic vista of the Canadian Rockies with distant jagged mountains providing the perfect backdrop. Look out for wildlife, Jasper is known for the herd of Elk that graze on the outskirts of town.

Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From inside Rocky Mountaineer's signature glass dome carriages you will see dramatic changes in scenery as you travel over the Yellowhead Pass, past Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, along banks of the North Thompson River and into the desert-like environment around Kamloops.

Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver
Step back on-board Rocky Mountaineer as you continue west towards the Pacific Ocean. On today's journey you will see more changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the B.C. interior through winding river canyons and past the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley.

Vancouver
The next days is yours to explore the enchanting coastal city of Vancouver. Take a stroll round Stanley Park, head over to Granville Island to discover a world of food, art and culture or take a shuttle bus over to the North Shore and the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 70 metres over the Capilano River.

Celebrity Cruises*
Arrive independently at the cruise terminal in Vancouver’s picturesque Canada Place ready to board your cruise to Alaska with Celebrity Cruises.
*This is a sample itinerary that may vary by sailing date.

Inside Passage
Sit back and relax as you cruise Alaska's Inside Passage, a spectacular route through a complex labyrinth of waterways, featuring glacier-cut fjords, lush rainforests, and an abundance of wildlife including orca, bald eagles, bears, puffins, sea otters and much more.

Icy Strait Point
For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located near the city of Hoonah, and home to a historic cannery, Icy Strait Point also offers travelers the chance to view wildlife like humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles, and brown bears, or to explore monuments to the region's fishing heritage.

Hubbard Glacier
Marvel as you cruise up to Hubbard Glacier, perfect no matter what the weather. On clear days, Hubbard turns a stunning deep blue and on cloudy ones, its many ripples and icebergs shimmer in soft light. Among all the vanishing Alaska glaciers, Hubbard has a rapidly advancing ice margin— up to seven feet in one day—earning it the nickname, “the Galloping Glacier.”

Juneau
Cruise to Juneau and visit the most remote, most beautiful, and strangest state capital in the United States. Surrounded by water, forest and mountain sights, visitors seeking things to do in Juneau indoors and outdoors can hike a glacier, eat fresh-caught fish on a seaside patio and tour a grand capitol building all in one day.

Ketchikan
Surrounded by soaring peaks and green forests, Ketchikan clings to the shoreline of the Tongass Narrows, with shops and houses built out over the water. Ketchikan is one of the best spots along the Inside Passage to explore the rich cultural sights of Native Alaskan nations and you can see intricately carved totem poles at the Totem Heritage Center and Totem Bight State Park. Make sure to leave time to explore the sights in the town itself, including historic Creek Street, a boardwalk built over the Ketchikan Creek, where you can shop for souvenirs, smoked salmon, and local art.

Inside Passage
Enjoy another day of scenic cruising as you sail back down the Inside Passage. Make sure you enjoy one last meal at your favourite onboard restaurant. With a wide variety of restaurants to choose from and an array of bars and lounges, a voyage with Celebrity Cruises takes you on a culinary journey like no other.

Vancouver
After disembarking the cruise in Vancouver, the rest of the day is free to further explore what the city has to offer. Stroll the historic district of Gastown, which is home to fabulous restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops, take flight at Flyover Canada or join a whale watching tour and go in search of BC's resident orcas.

Fly Home
Your adventures in Canada and Alaska have come to an end. Transfer independently to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home.
