Set on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, Vancouver Island’s remote luxury outpost Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is located in a pristine wilderness where abundant wildlife roams freely.
Studded along the banks of Clayoquot Sound and amongst towering forests, twenty-five luxuriously appointed white canvas tents each offer front row access to Canada's grand, unfiltered wilderness. This is a magical place where black bears, otters, whales, sea lions and mighty bald eagles all play at ease.
Enjoy a dining experience that is both delicious and celebrates the natural surroundings. Ingredients on the daily-changing menus are mostly sustainably produced, foraged or respectfully harvested and are sourced from Vancouver Island and the greater province of British Columbia. A generous selection of drinks is included in the tariff at Clayoquot and includes wines, local craft beers and ciders, small batch spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Inclusions
- Gourmet meals including snacks, feature wines, beer and alcohol, starting with dinner on day 1 and ending with lunch on the last day of stay
- Horse drawn wagon shuttle, welcome reception and orientation upon arrival
- Signature guided experiences including hiking, horseback riding, canyoning (available at a select time in summer), water sports and a marine Zodiac tour to spot whales and bears.
- An additional menu of à la carte activities including archery, rock climbing, fishing and mountain biking is also offered to tailor an even more personalised itinerary
- Spa Treatment for 7-night package: 60-minute relaxation massage per person per stay (guests aged 13+ only)
- Use of saunas, hot-tubs, cold plunges, the fitness studio, participation in early morning yoga class
- Evening turndown service and all in-room amenities

Arrive at Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge
You can arrive at Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge either by seaplane from Vancouver or by water taxi from Tofino, our Travel Experts can advise how a stay at the lodge best fits your itinerary. Upon arrival enjoy a chilled welcome beverage and orientation session with Guest Services and Experiences Team to review the activities planned for your stay. After getting the lay of the land and settling into your newly refreshed tented accommodations, enjoy a handcrafted cocktail in the Ivanhoe Lounge, followed by a delicious dinner prepared with fresh, local ingredients. After dinner, roast s’mores on the campfire and watch millions of stars appear in the inky black sky. Retreat back to your warm and cosy tent for a beautiful night’s rest.
