Whistler is in a spectacular location in British Columbia's Coast Mountains, just a 2 hour scenic drive from Vancouver. Being the largest ski resort in North America, it's no wonder reason Whistler is such a popular ski resort. Not only is the snowfall reliable, the powder fresh and the runs clear, there is an incredible après, dining and nightlife scene in the pedestrian village. The scenic village centre is compact and easily walkable but bursting with bars and restaurants where you'll meet fellow skiers and snowboarders. Whistler resort combines two ski mountains: Whistler and Blackcomb. The Peak2Peak Gondola is one of the highlights of the resort, spanning a record-breaking distance between the two peaks. It means that you can ski both mountains in one day, and the views from the gondola only add to the experience.
