Nestled in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest, Tweedsmuir Park Lodge sits amidst one of the world's most dense grizzly bear habitats. Annually, this region witnesses a natural spectacle as migratory grizzly bears converge by the rivers, drawn by the surge of wild Pacific salmon returning upstream. Strategically positioned near the Atnarko River, the lodge boasts a private viewing platform, providing you with frequent, diverse, and safe wildlife encounters. The highlight of your stay at Tweedsmuir Park Lodge will be the Grizzly Bear Viewing River Drift, a silent voyage that follows the meandering paths of the Atnarko River. Your breath will be taken away as you glide past foraging bears and pause along untouched riverbanks to witness their behaviours up-close.

- Meet and greet and transfers between Bella Coola airport or BC Ferries terminal and Tweedsmuir Park Lodge (if required).
- Full board with gourmet meals plus savoury and sweet snacks available anytime, starting with lunch on day 1 and ending with breakfast on day of departure.

Arrive at Tweedsmuir Park Lodge
Arrive at Tweedsmuir Park Lodge by 14:00 to enjoy lunch and a drink on the sun deck. Nestled in the Bella Coola Valley, you can fly directly to Bella Coola from Vancouver or include the region as part of a self-drive. Later that afternoon there will be a welcome reception, property orientation, and Grizzly Bear 101 presentation. As you settle into your accommodation, relax, enjoy the scenery, and watch for wildlife such as River Otters, Bald Eagles and Black and Grizzly Bears.
