It is a short stroll into the heart of Jasper, which is a friendly mountain town with a good selection of shops and restaurants as well as many galleries and museums.
There is a great network of hiking and biking trails in the park, whether you prefer to tackle the short Mary Schaffer Loop or spend the day exploring the Bald Hills, or for something different, you can meander around the pristine lakes and mountains on horseback.
For a spectacular view of Jasper and around, hop on the SkyTram, ten minutes south of the hotel and cruise up over 2000m to the summit of Whistler Mountain.
