In the area
The hotel is next to Lake City Casino, and just a few minutes from Kamloops Art Gallery. The town has a good selection of shops from independent stores to the bigger shopping centres, and many cafes and restaurants in the area. There is a twice-weekly Farmers’ market and live music every evening in the park during the summer.
Kamloops Museum & Archives is a short walk away, with some interesting historic displays and artefacts. The town also has several riverside parks with sandy beaches perfect for a summer picnic, and some pretty walking trails.
