In the area
Right in the Times Square district, with its iconic billboards, shops and restaurants, the Intercontinental hotel is in a great position for exploring the city. The bright lights of Broadway are just steps away and Madame Tussauds waxwork museum is also close by.
Wander through Times Square to the upmarket shopping on 5th and Madison Avenues, or head to the Empire State Building – take the lift to the top in the evening for particularly impressive views over the twinkling city.
A walk in the other direction will take you past the famous Carnegie Hall concert venue and to the lovely Central Park, home to many playgrounds, monuments, historic buildings and beautiful landscapes.
