Scenic cruising the Queen Charlotte Sound
A scenic day of cruising awaits as you cruise up though the Queen Charlotte Sound, with the coastal mountains of British Columbia providing a spectacular backdrop. Take time to explore the ship, the Observation Bar, with its graceful, curved wall of floor-to-ceiling windows allowing panoramic ocean views, is a popular place to relax with a quiet morning coffee or a social afternoon drink.

Ketchikan
Ketchikan is a picturesque coastal town with a colourful frontier history, standing at the southern entrance to Alaska's famed Inside Passage. The town’s site first served as a camp for Tlingit people, and for thousands of years this has been their home. Their rich culture is being preserved to this day at Native American sites such as Totem Bight State Park, Potlatch Park, Saxman Native Village and the Totem Heritage Center. Be sure to stroll down Creek Street a historic boardwalk, built on stilts over Ketchikan Creek, that was once the town's red-light district but today is a popular tourist attraction known for its unique shops, art galleries, and waterfront views.

Sitka
As the oldest city in Alaska, only accessible by air and sea, Sitka is the perfect place to relish in unbridled beauty of the Last Frontier. Nicknamed the "Paris of the Pacific" for the growing wealth acquired during its logging, gold, and fur trade booms, Sitka was sold to the United States by Russia in 1867. Picturesque remnants of Russia’s architectural influence are still present; one of the most intriguing structures is the Cathedral of Saint Michael, built in 1848 to honour a Russian Orthodox bishop. The mix of Tlingit tradition runs heavily through Sitka’s streets as well, making for a unique blend of history and culture.

Yakutat Bay & Hubbard Glacier
Sail into Yakutat Bay, which is 18 miles wide at its entrance, and cuts from the Gulf of Alaska into Disenchantment Bay, the entryway to the huge Hubbard Glacier, North America’s largest tidewater glacier. As you approach the glacier, sailing past floating ice and iconic wildlife, the chilled air from the glacier flows in a downdraft of cold that gives rise to mists and grey clouds, through which the vivid blue of the ice wall shimmers. It’s a sight that will render you speechless!

Inian Islands & Icy Strait Point
As the gatekeepers to the northern entrance of the fabled Inside Passage, the remote Inian Islands stand between Cross Sound and Icy Strait, exposed to the high energy seas of the Pacific Ocean. Here you can join an optional Expedition Experience, exploring the Inian Islands either by Zodiac or kayak. Afterwards, cruise to Icy Strait Point. a unique community on Chichagof Island near the entry to Glacier Bay National Park. It was created and is owned by a corporation of over 1300 Native Americans of various local Tlingit tribes, for the purpose of offering visitors an enjoyable, educational experience of Alaska’s native cultures, as well as the human and natural history of the region. Enjoy cultural performances, browse Native American-owned shops, galleries and museums, or eat at one of the local restaurants.

Haines
Tucked in along the shores of the longest fjord in North America and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, Haines is an authentic Alaskan experience. It is an eclectic community and a true hidden gem. You’ll find much of Alaska’s iconic wildlife here, Haines is home to the largest concentration of bald eagles on earth, and grizzly bears gorge themselves on spawning salmon in its rivers. You can also join in another optional Expedition Experience, and hike the Moose Meadows, stopping for a light picnic lunch with a view!

Juneau
Juneau, Alaska’s capital, is accessible only by air and sea, due to the rugged mountain terrain that surrounds the city. It has been a world-class travel destination since the early 1900’s. The city has plenty to offer the outdoor adventurer. You may choose to explore on foot along the Perseverance Trail or around Mendenhall Glacier, or board one of the many local whale-watching boats or view the mountains and extensive glaciers of the Juneau Icefield from a helicopter.

Scenic cruising Glacier Bay
Designated as an International World Heritage Site in 1992, Glacier Bay is truly a place of awe-inspiring beauty and an icon of wild Alaska. Today you will cruise the bay, home to over fifty named glaciers, some of which push forward at three to six feet per day. As you leave the bay, temperate, coniferous rainforest dominates its southern shores. Black and brown bears, wolves, moose, eagles and ravens all go about their daily routines, while harbour seals and whales frolic within the bay waters.

Wrangell
One of the thousands of islands of the Alexander Archipelago, Wrangell Island sits at the heart of the Tongass National Rain Forest and receives approximately 80” (203 cm) of rain per year. The city of Wrangell, a true Alaskan frontier town, sits at the northern end of the island, a short distance from the mouth of the mighty Stikine River. The Stikine River, Shakes Glacier and Anan Creek Bear Observatory are highlights in the region. Anan Creek boasts the largest pink salmon run of the Inside Passage, attracting brown and black bears in great numbers.

Misty Fjords
Misty Fjords National Monument is a section of the Tongass National Forest that consists of over two million acres of deeply cut fjords cradled in U-shaped valleys between mountain ranges rising 2,000 to 3,000 feet above sea level. Misty Fjords inspired the explorer John Muir to proclaim them among the most beautiful places he had ever seen. Your ship will cruise among these spectacular forests, waterfalls and mountains. The onboard Ventures by Seabourn team will offer optional Expedition Excursions including kayaking the fjords and a short sightseeing floatplane flight.

Prince Rupert
Prince Rupert, is beautifully set amongst the coastal mountains, known for its stunning waterfront, vibrant arts scene, and rich Native history. Its highlights include the quaint Cow Bay with its shops and restaurants, the Museum of Northern British Columbia, the totem carving house or the stunning sunken gardens. Consider joining an excursion to the North Pacific Cannery, designated a National Historic Site to learn the story of an industry that played a key role in BC’s development over the last 100 years.

Scenic cruising the Inside Passage
Another day of scenic cruising awaits as you sail down British Columbia’s famed Inside Passage. Your ship will leave behind the main shipping lane, favouring instead quieter channels such as Whale Channel, surrounded by snow-capped mountain ranges and teeming with marine life. As your time onboard comes to an end, be sure to visit your favourite restaurant one last time, Seabourn is a proud member of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, one of the world’s most prestigious gastronomic societies devoted to the art of fine dining, so you are assured to enjoy world-class dining.

Alert Bay
Located on the now-dormant Alert Bay volcanic belt, Cormorant Island is host to Vancouver Island's oldest northern community, the small town of Alert Bay. It is in the traditional territory of the Kwakwaka'wakw First Nation and today is a blend of both aboriginal and pioneer culture. Join one last Expedition Excursion and kayak the Comorant Marine Park, navigating the sheltered, protected waters whilst scanning the water for seals and whales, and the tree line for eagles.

Fly Home
Disembark your cruise in the morning, saying goodbye to crew and fellow travellers with whom you’ve shared this spectacular journey. Enjoy a final day of shopping, taking the time to explore the historic charm of Gastown, Vancouver’s Victorian district, before your private transfer takes you back to Vancouver International Airport in time for your flight home.
