Fly to St. John’s
On arrival to St. John’s International Airport, transfer independently to your hotel. Every evening, George Street blazes with energy, sit back, relax, and enjoy live music or local theatre where actors will whisk you away to another place and time. Be sure to get screeched in during your stay and become an honorary Newfoundlander.
St. John’s
Explore great heritage as you hike up Signal Hill where Marconi famously received the first transatlantic wireless message. Signal Hill is home to the unmistakable, castle-like structure, the iconic Cabot Tower where you can look out over the cliffs and harbour to see a captivating skyline. Visit Quidi Vidi, the charming village-within-a-city, a historic fishing village just beyond Quidi Vidi Lake, which embodies the spirit of an old fishing outport.
Fly Home
Enjoy a final day of shopping and sightseeing making sure to visit Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site and the easternmost point of North America. If you’re interested in discovering the local wildlife, book one of the numerous wildlife watching tours for a chance to spot puffins and whales and much more. Head to the airport at the end of the day for your overnight flight home.
