Day 1
Vancouver
Upon arrival in Vancouver explore the historic Gastown district before dinner. This evening, indulge in a dinner of exquisite local specialities, savouring the best of British Columbia’s flavours as you embark on your extraordinary adventure.
Day 2
Vancouver
Join your Travelling Concierge for a sightseeing tour to Stanley Park and see the totem poles at Brockton Point. Continue to Salmon n’ Bannock, the only restaurant in the city owned and operated by members of Canada’s First Nations. Savour a delicious and modern Celebration Lunch prepared with traditional ingredients and authentic flavours.
Day 3
Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From inside Rocky Mountaineer's signature glass dome carriages you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like interior.
Day 4
Rocky Mountaineer to Jasper
Your journey continues north and then eastwards as you follow the back of the North Thompson River. Soon you find yourself surrounded by the Rocky and Cariboo Mountain ranges and pass by Mount Robson which, at 3,954 metres high, is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.
Day 5
Jasper
Board a magical narrated cruise on the serene waters of iconic Maligne Lake. Continue to Maligne Canyon and explore with a gentle hike through this incredible natural landmark. Get involved in an intimate and unique evening where you join the First Nations Warrior Women, who reside in the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation followed by dinner at the lodge.
Day 6
Lake Louise
Travel along the Icefields Parkway, one of the most beautiful drives on the planet. Embark on a specially designed Ice Explorer for an extraordinary excursion onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier, a part of the Columbia Icefield. Upon arrival in Lake Louise stroll along the lakeshore and admire your surroundings. Later, relax in your room or join an Afternoon Tea service in your hotel’s Living Room. For dinner this evening, you have a choice of several restaurants at the resort.
Day 7-8
Banff
Revel in the breathtaking beauty of Moraine Lake, where glacial waters shimmer in vivid turquoise, framed by towering peaks (seasonal). Take a leisurely stroll along the shore or capture the perfect photograph of this iconic Canadian gem. Later, retreat to the legendary Fairmont Banff Springs, a castle in the mountains offering worldclass luxury. Sip a crafted cocktail in an elegant lounge, or explore the historic halls of this grand retreat, the evening is yours to indulge in the unparalleled charm of Banff’s most iconic hotel. Take an optional helicopter flight and soar high above the Rockies or take the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphir Mountain for a view of the mountain ranges.
