Toronto
Explore one of Toronto’s most famous attractions, the CN Tower. For the more daring of you why not try the CN Tower’s Edgewalk, the world’s highest full circle, hands free walk on a 5ft wide ledge circling the top of the Tower 386m above the ground? After this take in the rest of the sights downtown has to offer such as the Distillery District for some Segway fun or Casa Loma for beautiful views of downtown from this romantic Gothic Revival style mansion.
Elmhirst's Resort
Collect your car & head 90 minutes east of Toronto to the beautiful colony of lakeside cottages on the north shore of Rice Lake. This truly is your first stop for outdoor adventure in Ontario. Options include flightseeing over the Kawarthas to a remote lake or riding a horse through the woods. Those looking for more adventurous activities can enjoy a day driving an ATV on a guided safari, water-skiing from the docks, kayaking around the island or landing a large trophy fish. The resort is all about sustainability and living off the land. Produce and livestock are all farmed on site using natural, sustainable methods.
Kingston
Today make the 2 hours drive North East to Kingston, Ontario’s oldest town. Originated in 1673 as a fur trading station, now historic limestone architecture and modern amenities adorn each corner. Stroll the city’s waterfront along Lake Ontario where it meets the St. Lawrence River
Ottawa
Follow the Rideau Heritage Route on your drive between Kingston and Ottawa. A beautiful system of lakes, rivers and canals built in the 1800’s for military use. Today it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take lunch at one of the 24 scenic lock stations along the way prior to arriving in Canada’s Capital; Ottawa.
Pembroke
Follow the Ottawa Valley North West to the small city of Pembroke. Famous for white water rafting trips on the Ottawa River as well as a great gateway into Algonquin Provincial Park.
Voyaguer Quest Algonquin Log Cabin
Your true Ontario adventure starts today. Enjoy a leisurely paddle by canoe to Kitchie Island before paddling onwards to Otter Bay for an introduction to the boreal forest, beaver ponds and the Canadian Shield. Enjoy fascinating hikes with guides as well as twilight paddles. An edible wilds walk for breakfast will take in awe inspiring views of Algonquin lakes before participating in a workshop on bush and woodcraft.
Blue Mountain
Blue Mountain is a true recreation destination. Hiking, biking, cycling, caving and golfing are all on the agenda here. Take a Segway tour or ride the gondola for panoramic views of the resort. Blue Mountain's lively pedestrianised village features accommodation, shopping, dining and entertainment, plus year-round festivals.
Niagara-on-the-Lake
The drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake will take you around the Niagara Peninsula and through some truly spectacular country. There are over 90 wineries in the Niagara Region and local chefs insist on using the finest seasonal ingredients which makes for a gastronomic experience. Visit wineries along the Wine Route and sample Ontario’s renowned Icewine, a local speciality at Inniskillin Winery.
