Vancouver
After arriving in Vancouver spend the rest of the day exploring this spectacular city which has so much to offer! Why not stretch your legs on the Stanley Park Seawall, a 10km loop around Stanley Park which affords wonderful views over the ocean and North Shore Mountains.
Victoria
Start your day by taking the ferry over to Victoria, BC’s capital city. The ferry is a great way to enjoy the scenery with Vancouver on one side and the Islands around you. If you are lucky, you might even spot some whales on your way! The next day take a stroll round the harbour, which is lined with historic buildings such as the BC Parliament Building, head over to Fisherman’s Wharf for a fresh seafood lunch or join a whale watching tour and go in search of BC's resident orcas.
Chilliwack
Catch the ferry back over to the mainland and head inland to the Fraser Valley, an agricultural wonderland. Over half the province’s agricultural activity is centred here, including nearly 30 vineyards and 15 wineries. The wineries are dedicated to producing some of the most acclaimed wine labels in the province, from unique fruit wines and delicious sparkling wines to fresh, fruit-forward table wines. The winery experience is not limited to tastings – several also offer culinary experiences such as farm tours and bistro dining.
Osoyoos
Your journey continues through Manning Provincial Park which varies from lush, thick coastal growth to dry interior vegetation and into the Okanagan Valley, the principal wine growing region in British Columbia. Enjoy a free day in Osoyoos to explore its unique desert environment. Scenically located on the shores of Osoyoos Lake, the town is surrounded by wineries. We recommend visiting NK'MIP Cellars and their Patio Restaurant which serves delicious food, with an emphasis of local produce, together with their wines and all with a view over the lake.
Castlegar
Don’t leave Osoyoos without stopping at the natural phenomenon Spotted Lake. The surface of the lake is made up of 365 spots in the summer, which change shape, colour, size. Try and spot the heart shaped circle in the middle. This place is so unique and something tourists rarely see.
Make you way to south-eastern corner of British Columbia, to Kootenay region, home to a pristine stretch of rivers, lakes, waterfalls, beaches, mineral hot springs, alpine meadows and snow-capped mountains. Although it is a relatively new viticultural area, ground crops were first planted in the region many years ago, which led to the cultivation of orchards and today, in select microclimates, grapes have been grown since 1995.
Sparkling Hill Resort
Spend 2 nights at Sparkling Hill Resort for a healing, wellness retreat experience. The serene views of Okanagan Lake and the Monashee Mountains provide the backdrop to your visit. Kelowna
Travel to Kelowna, home to more than 25 wineries, this world-famous region has become synonymous with wine, and for good reason. BC’s first vines were planted in Kelowna in 1859! The next day explore wineries of Kelowna's East Bench on an afternoon tour showcasing four of the best local wineries.
Vancouver
Head back to Vancouver on the Coquihalla Highway which snakes its way through the Cascade Mountain range.
Fly home
Enjoy any last-minute shopping before saying goodbye to Canada. Drop off your hire car at Vancouver International Airport ready for your flight back home.
