Combining visits to Canada’s rugged Yukon and the dramatic state of Alaska, you will experience two environments that challenge the limits of human endurance. Your adventure begins in Whitehorse through spectacular rugged mountains, serene landscapes, and breath-taking scenery. Gold Rush towns still speak of fortunes made and lost at the end of the 18th century, original and restored buildings showcasing the daily life of those early prospectors. Combined with a captivating flightseeing tour of vast glacial parklands, this itinerary offers a truly unique experience just a few hundred kilometres below the Arctic Circle.

Whitehorse
After arrival at Whitehorse, collect your car and spend the rest of the time at leisure.
Haines Junction
Head west through small villages situated on the edge of the massive Kluane National Park.
Tok
Driving along Alaska Highway, this route offers views of rugged mountain ranges, dense forests, and pristine lakes.
Fairbanks
Crossing into the USA, travel the Alaska Highway en route to Fairbanks located less than 200km south of the Arctic Circle.
Denali National Park
Today’s route takes you along the George Parks Highway on to Denali National Park. Explore the hiking trails that wind through the park. Wildlife can often be spotted from the access roads.
Anchorage
Continue your adventure southbound, traversing vast woodlands of spruce, birch and aspen to Alaska’s largest city, End the day on a waterside patio with a dinner of famous Alaskan crab!
Nabesna
A captivating journey that showcases natural diversity and beauty awaits you while you travel from Anchorage to Nabesna. After taking Nabesna Road to reach your destination, the view will change to the pristine wilderness, glacial rivers, and rustic homestead.
Dawson City
Striking back towards the border through some of the most untouched wilderness in North America, you pass back over into Canada. You can spend the day touring the historic landmarks of Dawson City and the surrounding gold-fields.
Whitehorse
Head back to the southern region of the Yukon. Relax after a long day of driving. Embark on a full-day scenic trip along the South Klondike before ending in Skagway, Alaska. Return by motor coach.
Fly Home
Drop off your car hire at Whitehorse Airport, collect your internal flight back to Vancouver Airport and your connecting flight back home.
