Itinerary
Day 1 Vancouver
Collect your hire car and spend your first night in downtown Vancouver
Day 2 Vancouver to Tofino (283km)
Today's route leads you across to Vancouver Island and the Pacific Coast. Wind through ancient rainforest and provincial parks to the rugged coastal town of Tofino. Overnight in Tofino.
Day 3 - 5 Tofino
Spend time in the relaxed Clayoquot Sound town of Tofino. With a magnitude of activities to choose from, you won't struggle to fill each day up! Spend your time exploring lakes, inlets and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. November through to February is the famous 'storm watching' season in Tofino. Choose a cosy fireside in one of the many restaurants and hotels and watch the giant swells and lashing waves along the coast of this magnificent island. Overnight in Tofino.
Day 5 Tofino to Vancouver (283km)
This morning, follow the road back towards Nanaimo to board your ferry to the mainland. Once back in Downtown Vancouver, enjoy all that this beautiful and multicultural city has to offer with so many fantastic attractions! Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 6 Vancouver to Silver Star (489km)
Your drive today will take you from the Pacific Coastal Mountains into the heart of Interior BC to Silver Star in the Monashee Mountains. This Okanagan town has a unique micro-climate meaning it receives over 23ft of snow annually!
Day 7 - 10 Silver Star
Enjoy all that this spectacular mountain resort has to offer. Explore over 105km of trails around the resort and near Soveriegn Lakes Nordic Centre or try your hand skiing in the lightest and driest snow in the world! If you're looking for a fun mountain activity, head to Tube Town park for hours of fun. A horse-drawn sleigh ride is the perfect evening treat in this Victorian-inspired village.
Day 11 Vancouver - End of Tour
Your tour ends upon your arrival in Vancouver. Spend some time buying last minute souvenirs before heading to the airport for your flight home.
